No Nonsense Neutering

Tilden Township is partnering with No Nonsense Neutering (NNN) to offer FREE TNR vouchers for free roaming community/feral cats.

To qualify for FREE vouchers:   You MUST be a resident of Tilden Township.

NNN is a same day surgery clinic by appointment only located at 1500 Frush Valley Rd., Reading, PA.
To obtain vouchers, a resident must get appointment/s first.

Scheduling is done online: www.nnnlv.org.

Come to the Township office with valid driver’s license, proof of residence and your appointment date/s to get voucher/s.

Cats must come in a trap. No Exceptions. ALL will be left ear tipped. Cats receive a rabies vaccine, distemper vaccine under 1 year old, flea, worming and ear mite treatments, fluids and long acting pain medicine.

Loaner traps are available at NNN clinic. Traps are available 1 week BEFORE your surgery date.

Pending freezing rain

Due to the pending freezing rain forecast for early Thursday morning, February 6, 2025, Tilden Township is requesting persons with vehicles parked on West State Street, Lincoln Drive, Ruth Street, Kathryn Street, Marion Street, Yoder Street, Carl Street, Hazel Street, Clayton Avenue, Moonlight Drive, Sunrise Drive, Rainbow Drive and Sunset Drive, to please remove all your vehicles from the street by 1am Thursday, February 6th and keep them off the road until such time as the inclement weather passes and the roads are clear.

The Township appreciates your voluntary cooperation. Thank you.

Snow Emergency

Due to the pending snow storm forecast for Sunday morning, January 19, 2025, Tilden Township has declared a snow emergency and is requesting persons with vehicles parked on West State Street, Lincoln Drive, Ruth Street, Kathryn Street, Marion Street, Yoder Street, Carl Street, Hazel Street, Clayton Avenue, Moonlight Drive, Sunrise Drive, Rainbow Drive and Sunset Drive, to please remove all your vehicles from the street by 10am Sunday January 19th and keep them off the road until further notice.

This enables our road crew to more efficiently remove snow from the roadway in certain areas.

2025 BUDGET ADOPTED

Notice is hereby given that the budget for the fiscal year 2025 for Tilden Township, Berks County, PA was adopted by the Tilden Township Board of Supervisors on December 11, 2024 and is available for public inspection by contacting the Township Secretary. A summary of the 2025 budget is posted at the Township Municipal Building.
